Keychains
What are keychains? I suppose everybody knows what keychains are and what they are used for. Even so before discussing types of keychains and materials used in making keychains, we should clarify what they are and what you can use them for. Keychains, according to Wikipedia, are small chains, usually made from metal or plastic, that connect small items such as keyrings. Obviously the length of keychains allows items to be used more easily than if they were connected directly to the keyrings. Depending on the way they are designed, some keychains permit rotation so that they do not twist while the objects connected to the are being used, whereas other keychains do not have this ability.
Keychains can also be the connecting link between keyrings and the belts, for instance, of their users. Keychains are frequently used by people whose jobs involve frequent use of keys. People like security guards, janitors or retail store managers, prison officers as well as others, will surely benefit from the use of keychains. The chains in keychains are often retractable. In order to ensure this feature, keychains are made of nylon rope rather than metal. The chain ensures that the keys stay attached to the bearer and makesaccidental loss of keys less likely. There are many other ways to name these objects. Names such as key rings, key holders, key tags, and key fobs are also used for keychains. Another debatable aspect of keychains is the spelling of the word. There is no conclusion whether to spell the word as keychains or key chains; anyway, users, collectors, etc prefer to write it as one word: keychains.
Why are keychains important? Well, keychains are commonly used to promote businesses. How is that possible? Standard advertising keychains carry the businesses name and contact information and, often, a logo. The most popular advertising keychains are in the shape of number 1, implying the quality of the business which they are advertising for. Of course there are other shapes in which keychains occur.
